About Classic Car Wash

Classic Car Wash is a car wash in St. Louis, Missouri. It is listed at 4800 Lemay Ferry Rd, St. Louis, MO 63129, which places it among the local businesses of St. Louis that residents and visitors turn to when they need this kind of service close by.

Car washes in the United States come in four main formats: the express tunnel, where you stay in the car while a conveyor pulls it through brushes or high-pressure jets; the full-service wash, where attendants vacuum and wipe down the interior after the tunnel; the self-service bay with a coin or card-operated pressure wand, foam brush and vacuums; and the hand wash, where a crew washes and dries the car by hand. Touchless tunnels skip the cloth brushes entirely and rely on chemicals and water pressure, which is gentler on paint but less effective on heavy grime. Most express chains sell an unlimited monthly plan, usually priced at two to three single washes, that is only worth it if you wash more than twice a month. Gas stations often bundle a discounted wash with a fill-up.

Today ( owner??) approached me and my wife telling me that I have to get outside to dry my car, place was empty nobody was there. I don’t think they appreciated that I spend each time more than $20, 3 to 4 times a month ( use math) not to mention that my kid use same location for his car ( now that is very questionable). If there was someone waiting for me I would understand but his approach is unacceptable. What a rudeness and arrogance, Unbelievable! When I said that there is many places to wash your car, he replied “good luck”..!!??Your business depends on customers, you should know better, i saw a few similar reviews as mine, if you continue to do so, you will lose. Again what a pathetic response and unprofessional service. Unbelievable!

I’ve really enjoyed having this place so accessible, and pass up other options bc this location is convenient. Today the owner approached me and told me I should not be in the bay without the meter running. I typically rinse my car, use my own soap and sponge, then rinse again, and leave- no more than 10 minutes there. I asked if in the future I should apply my soap and then pull up or what was preferred. He basically said I should just be using their soap and brushes with the meter running. while he was polite- the principle of this has not sat right with me. There were only two other cars there, no one was waiting in line. I wasn’t taking up space or time for another customer, and if it was busy I wouldn’t have even stopped. I’ll just choose to use another facility and make sure I’m not taking up space or a bother here.

My brother and I both have Cobras and we will only take them here. This place is a gem, the automatic touchless car wash does an excellent job, the manual wash bays are top notch as well, the cleaning products used are the best. Brian (the owner) prides himself on his business and will make sure everything is right. Best touchless car wash in St Louis.
